Foothills Regional Victim Services (FRVS) provides assistance to victims of crime and/or tragedy 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Working in partnership with the RCMP Detachments of High River, Okotoks, Turner Valley and Nanton, FRVS assists residents and visitors in the Foothills area. The goal of FRVS is to limit the impact of crime or tragedy through information, referral, support, assistance, community liaison and education. FRVS is a not-for-profit, volunteer based, registered society.
COORDINATOR AND INDIGENOUS VICTIM OUTREACH SPECIALIST
Foothills Regional Victim Services is seeking a self-motivated individual with strong administrative skills to coordinate services to victims of crime throughout our area of service provision as outlined in the Canadian Victims Bill of Rights and the Alberta Victims of Crime Act. This position will also be responsible for the coordination of services to victims of crime in the Turner Valley policing area.
This 28 hour per week position will be based out of the Turner Valley RCMP detachment. Some evening and weekend hours are required. Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
